Call for Posters

Posters are solicited that present recent and late-breaking research on security and privacy related topics. Presenting a poster at the IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy is a great chance for researchers to obtain valuable feedback on their on-going work from knowledgeable participants at the conference. Posters from students are especially encouraged.

Submission deadline: Thursday, 8 April 2010, 5:00pm PDT (Hard deadline)
Notification of decisions: Thursday, 15 April 2010
Early registration deadline: Sunday, 18 April 2010
Final version of abstracts (for conference web site): 10 May 2010
Poster session: 18 May 2010, 5:45 - 7:30pm

Submission Details

Submit an abstract no longer than two pages describing the work. Submit abstract by sending an email to carrie.gates@ca.com with Subject Line:

Poster: [Your Title]

The abstract should identify the key contribution of the work being presented in the poster. In addition, it should describe the particular problem being addressed, what makes this problem interesting or important, and what your approach is to the problem.

Preference will be given to new and exciting problems as opposed to thorough but incremental pieces of work. Please use the IEEE conference proceedings style (2-column) for preparing your abstract. For each author, please include institutional affiliation and status (student, faculty, and so on).

Your abstract should not exceed the two-page limit; non-conforming submissions will not be considered for review.

Poster Session

A poster is a 30 inch by 40 inch rectangular board on which you can affix visually appealing material that describes your research. Please print a single large sheet of paper describing the work and attach that to the poster board. You must bring your own poster board. Several document companies, such as Kinko's / FedEx Office, produce professional-looking posters from material produced on software like Powerpoint; you may want to use such a facility.
